Das Herzstück von Amoeba ist eine auf künstlicher Intelligenz basierende, algorithmische 8-Kanal-Rhythmus-Engine mit vollständiger CV-Steuerung zur Manipulation der Beat-Patterns.
Zusätzlich gibt es einen Rotating Clock Counter Mode, einen Rotating Clock Divider Mode und einen auf Cellular Automation basierenden Modus.
Der Clock Counter-Mode kann zum Zählen von Beats, Bars und Measures verwendet werden.
Der Clock Divider-Mode kann verwendet werden, um viele verschiedene Clock- und Beat-Divisionen zu erhalten.
Der Cellular Automation-Mode ermöglicht die Manipulation organischer Triggermuster aus einem Zellgitter, das lose auf dem Game Of Life-Algorithmus von Conway basiert. Form, Rotation und Position der Probenahme können gesteuert werden, um eine Vielzahl verschiedener Muster zu erhalten.
Hier gibt es ein DIY Full Kit, welches alle benötigten Bauteile enthält und noch selbst zusammengelötet werden muß.
